Zuppa Toscana Soup

It’s one of our favorites and our friend Sandy made this one!


Ingredients

Zuppa Toscana Soup
  • 1-quart chicken broth

  • 1 pound Italian sausage

  • 1/2 large onion

  • 1/2 pound bacon cooked and chopped

  • 3 cups chopped cauliflower

  • 1 cup chopped kale

  • 1/2-3/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1 Tablespoon red pepper flakes

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook sausage and sautée onions, put into slow cooker.

  • Add other ingredients besides kale and cream.

  • Cook for 4 hours, add kale and cream, cook additional 15 mins and serve!
