Intermittent Fasting! Let Your Body Rest

We're going to talk about Intermittent Fasting, and why intermittent fasting. I want to cover a couple of basic things about the page. Whatever you're looking for, there are recipes shared on this page for almost eight years. You can always go to and click on recipes. We also have a whole blog of things to help you on your journey.

Yes, this page is about recipes because that's what most people want, but it's also about mindset. I love giving people what I feel they need. It's more than just recipes, it's having awareness of your eating habits, your discipline, your systems, and your mindset. We also talk about ketones because I drink ketones every day, and that's how my journey started years ago.

Today, we're going to talk about Fasting and how it will help you with your fat loss journey.


How many of you are intermittent fasting?

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴?
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴?

Here's why intermittent fasting can be so helpful. Intermittent fasting helps with your brain function and your fat loss. It helps you understand that you don't have to be controlled by food.

Overall, it's just really good for your body. I'm not a doctor, but I've learned from doctors and experts in the ketone space about the power of intermittent fasting.

Most people are overeating, and they're overeating even good food.

One of my customers, who is now a promoter, told me the other day that her biggest "AHA!" moment was when she heard me say "Most people are just overeating, even good food"... If we're at a party, at the office, or out and about. And you see bacon, cheese, or meat, just because it falls within the low-carb options. You might, "Well, it's keto. I can eat it even if I'm not hungry"...


I had this explanation given to us the other day, by Dr. Jacob Wilson. He's one of the formulators of our product, Keto NAT, and he also wrote the book "The Ketogenic Bible". He talked a lot about intermittent fasting, and he gave us an analogy of a car and how it's just like intermittent fasting.

He said, when people get up in the morning and they eat right away, they eat all the way until they go to bed. So they're eating from the time they get up until the time they go to bed. But some people don't go to bed until late hours and are constantly snacking all day long. That means your body is processing food all day long.

So, after your body's done processing all that food, you eat again. If somebody's not intermittent fasting and they're eating a good amount of food from the time they wake up till they go to bed, your body's only getting about three to four hours of rest time before it has to do it all over again.

It's the same as getting only three to four hours of sleep a night. How would you function?

Intermittent fasting allows your body to have this rest time. Your body is fueled, you're not overly stuffed, and you're not eating all day long. Intermittent fasting allows your body to rest and reset. It helps with your metabolism and helps you be in control of food and your body. It gives you the awareness of how your body responds to food than just eating all day long.


The best way to do it is 16-8... Let's say you're done eating dinner by seven o'clock. You're going to stop eating for the next 16 hours. So NO breakfast, but you can start eating by lunchtime. You can have protein, or carb-conscious, low-carb foods.

How can you do that without being hungry?

It is a process. If you can't make it up to 16 hours, you can start with 12 hours. You don't have to go from not doing intermittent fasting at all, to diving into it. You can work on creating that system by giving yourself an eight-hour window from lunch until dinner, in that way you eat in a timeframe. Eat your lunch and your dinner, and skip your breakfast.


I have an entire kit that can help you get through the day so that you don't have to feel like you're starving. You're going to have energy, focus, and appetite control.

So if you want help with intermittent fasting, you can just do it with black coffee, water, or electrolytes. I prefer using our IFAST kit. You drink ketones in the morning and electrolytes. And then you're going to have a caffeine-free ketone later in the day. We also have some keto protein.

This product is how I got started. Oftentimes, people will say, "I'm just getting started", "I want fat loss, can you please help me?", "I want to do the keto diet"... I think that's great, but if you're not doing keto yet and you've been really eating, diving in headfirst is not the greatest. I would encourage you to do it a little bit differently. I started with drinking ketones, drinking more water, I took the buns off the burgers, moving my body, and eating when I was hungry and not bored.

I was just mindful of the choices I made every single day.

I drank ketones every single day because it was the only way that I got started. If I started without this, which I actually had tried with my husband and it ended in tears. I didn't understand keto and it stressed me out.

I have so many messages that come to me on a daily basis saying, "I've done keto", "I did it years ago, had success, I lost the weight, but gained it back"... It's a vicious cycle.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗜.𝗙. 𝟱 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸.

You can try to stick to a Monday through Friday Intermittent Fasting schedule. You can do a couple of low-carb meals a day, drink more water, and move your body. So that on the weekends you can go to the birthday party, join the family outing, or have a church potluck.

I normally intermittently fast even on the weekends. But if we were going to go out and the girls wanted to get some fancy pancakes or grab an omelet, I wouldn't have to say, "No, I'm intermittent fasting"... I actually would like to go out and have fun with my family.

That's why we're coaching people to try Intermittent fasting from Monday through Friday. Let's get focused throughout the week so that you'll have more of a structure and a routine.

Monday through Friday, you can get up in the morning, work on your mindset, drink your water, move your body, get your 10,000 steps, and then use your intermittent fasting kit. Drink ketones, because it's going to help you with your energy. For me, I don't need a nap, I haven't taken a nap in almost eight years.

I call ketones my mom fuel. This helps me not eat all the cookies, or snacks all day long. I'm eating low-carb, carb-conscious, lunch, and dinner. If your goal is fat loss, and you really have a good amount of fat to lose, I would encourage you to work towards intermittent fasting. It's really going to help you be mindful of when you're eating, what you're eating, and the choices that you're making. This will help you to not snack all day long.

A majority of people are overeating, even overeating good food.

When somebody messages me saying, "I'm not having success", "I've been eating keto for the last month, I don't understand and I feel it's not working"... Tell me what you're eating? Most people would lay out all of this food and while it's good food, they're legitimately eating a large amount of food.

So just be mindful, this is going to give you awareness. I actually feel incredible, intermittent fasting is super great for you. It will help you with your mindset. Dr. Jacob Wilson also talked about brain health, gut health, and just overall helps with fat loss and so much more.
