How to Create a Clear Vision for Your Life? (Dream It, Pin It, Live It! by Terri Savell Foy)

Welcome to the Keto Mom page, my name is Stephanie. We're diving into "Dream It, Pin It, Live It" by Terri Savell Foy.


We're going to wrap up chapter two, and I'll give you an action step from the book. If your goal is to have a dream or a vision, to know what you're going after and you don't want to wait until January of 2023, then we're going to go after it right now.


I did this before, but I did not finish my assignment. I started and restarted, it's not super easy and you really have to think about it.

We're going to wrap up chapter 2, and I'm going to tell you exactly what to do to go after your goals and dreams, and figure out what you want, to give yourself a target.


So that when you dive into this new year, you're not going to waste 30 days or more trying to figure out what you actually want.


This book is helping me dream and go back to the things that I know I want to achieve in life.

Do you know what you want?


This actually has a lot to do with keto, low carb, or any type of diet or lifestyle that you're achieving. Because whether you believe it or not, whether you like it or not, your mind is powerful. Your brain is powerful, the things you say are powerful.


And if you're not willing to work on that, then you most likely won't get the results that you want. So I'm a firm believer that if you want fat loss if you want to feel better, look better, and go after your goals, then we're going to have to work on your mindset.


If you don't want to do that, then you're going to be going around the same mountain every single year.


"How do you start identifying your desires?
You simply just start answering questions".
  • Do you want to be debt free?

  • Do you want to lose weight?

  • Do you want to travel?

  • Do you want to design clothes?

  • Do you want to be a missionary?

  • Do you want to go to graduate school?

  • Do you want to adopt a child?

  • Do you want to be an actor?

  • Do you want to record music?

  • What do you want to do?

One of our favorite authors, Napoleon Hill, wrote two books "Outwitting the Devil" and "Think and Grow Rich". Napoleon Hill did a study saying analyzing 98 out of 100 people, and the majority had the same cause of failure.


𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁.

If you read self-development books, follow along on podcasts, or listen to people that are having success in whatever area in their lives. You will find the common thread of their success is because of mindset, the power of your words, and having a clear vision of what you want.


If you don't have a clear vision of what you want, how in the world are you going to get it?


"Without putting your dreams in writing, you will wander year after year without even realizing it. When your vision is clear the results will appear".

"Here's a quick way to start. Start writing down things, just begin with basic desires".

  • I would love a house on the lake.

  • I would love a speedboat.

  • I would like to go to Italy.

  • I would like to have a new job.

  • I would like to lose 50 pounds.

  • I want to go skydiving or snorkeling.


"Your visions and your dream boards will be unique to you. The action step for you today going into the weekend would be to make a list of 101 things that you want to do, places that you want to see, and things that you want to accomplish"

It can be anything! I have my journal here, and I started the 101 things that I want to accomplish and places we want it to go.


My husband is a dreamer, and he would easily write down 101 things. I sat down and dreamed of a couple of things but only made it to 23.


𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟯 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼.
It's supposed to help your brain just start thinking and dreaming, so start writing it down.
So that's your action step! So I wrote little things down like...
  • Helping the girls learn verses

  • Affirmations daily.

  • Restarting in the podcast with my daughter.

  • Doing my hair more often, and not wearing a hat so much.

  • Spending more time with our cousins.

  • Tea time on lives.


So I'm going to challenge you! Get a notebook, start writing, and try to write down 101 things, desires, dreams, or places you want to go. It could be things you want to accomplish or things you want to pay off.


It doesn't matter! That is the goal! What they're going to do is help you narrow it down. We're going to get to the point where we have smart goals, and how to actually accomplish your goals. How to pick your goals, and what to put on our vision boards.

𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿.
So that by the end of December, we can start getting ready for the new year.
But if you don't do the work now, the likelihood of you putting a vision board together is probably unlikely.

So I'm going to work all weekend and I'm going to get 101 things written on this notebook. That way I can say I did the full action. Because the first time I did this, I did not do it.


Are you committed?
