       You don't have to track your food, but I want to know if you are, because "What gets measured, gets managed". You can overeat good food, so if you aren't seeing the results that you want, or you feel like it's not going fast enough. Let's be real, it takes time and consistency. "Oftentimes people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year, and underestimate what they can accomplish in five years".

Hello! Welcome to the Keto Mom page, and welcome to your two o'clock tasting and your Keto tip. My name is Stephanie, I am here to give you a Keto tip and help you on your journey in some way, shape, or form. Alright! How is your day, and where are you tuning in from? I am tuning in from the lovely Minnesota, where we are expected to get snow on Friday and Sunday. We just came in, part of our homeschool day was spent cleaning up the yard and getting ready for the snow because nobody likes to clean up the yard when it is cold so we just did it. We had put away all of the water toys, everything is ready, and the snow can come. Who else lives where their snow is coming? I think Wisconsin is supposed to get snow, Minnesota is supposed to get snow, I'm assuming Iowa, and probably the Dakotas, and Canada. Where are you from, and who is getting snow with me? If you're not getting snow, maybe you're happy about that.

Alright! I'm going to shake up one of my favorite flavors, and I think I say that about every flavor because they're all great. And then I'm going to share a tip with you about "What gets measured, gets managed". That's what we're going to talk about today, "What gets measured, gets managed"... So going back to my Mom Fuel, it's simple. You take a cup or a shaker bottle, and you put the powder or liquid in it. There are different forms, but usually, it's powder, and that's what comes in all the trial packs. So you shake this up, you drink it, and it puts you in ketosis and under an hour. You are going to have better energy, focus, which helps with fat loss, appetite control, mood, sleep, muscle preservation, and all of those good things. It's not a magic pill, but it's a tool. It's an incredible tool that I've been drinking for six and a half years, and who would have thought that this little packet would make me feel like an incredible mom. I joke with people, and I would say that I honestly only tried the product to support my husband.

I just got off the phone with one of my best friends in high school, she's amazing. She called me up two weeks ago, and she said, "I drank the product with you six years ago, you sent it to me wrapped in rubber bands". And that's because when we first started the company, this packet was just a white sleeve that had like a sticker on it. The company was just launching, and I sent some of it to my friend, Jess. And she called me two weeks ago, and she said, "I should have kept drinking it with you, and I should have shared it with you".

She was kind of come and go with the product. And she said, "I've done everything under the sun, Stephanie. I've drank everything, I've tried everything, but this is the only thing that truly helped me feel good. I feel like it is a tool, and it helped me on my journey with my appetite control". So for those of you who don't know, the company's amazing. The product is a tool, it's not a magic pill, but it helps you with all of those benefits, and from there you work on your food. How often do you buy something because somebody you love, shared it with you. When I love something, I share it. Like I'll say "I love Costco, it's my favorite store", "I love Air fryers". I don't know how many Air fires I've sold without a link, but if I could count how many people bought an Air fryer, just because I shared it. Like I tell everybody, "You need an Air fryer". It's not just a "Like", it's a "Need" in your family. Costco is the best place to shop, there are certain movies that I love, my favorite restaurants, and I will tell you to go eat at my favorite place. Anything I'm going to tell you and Ketones is one of them.

This is one serving of Almonds

Alright! This ziplock bag is a serving size of Almonds, and this entire bag. Do you see the difference? Oftentimes people will say, "I hit a plateau", "How do I get past a plateau?", "This isn't working, I've tried everything"... A couple of the questions I'm going to ask you would be, "Are you tracking your food?". You don't have to track your food, but I want to know if you are because "What gets measured, gets managed"...

At the very beginning, we tracked our food for a couple of weeks, and the only reason I did it is so I could visibly see what I was eating. Because oftentimes we don't think that we're eating that much, but when you physically track everything that you put into your mouth, you might be shocked. Like, "I didn't realize I didn't eat one serving of almonds, but I ate five servings".

Because what usually happens is, you just sit here eating out of the bag, and you don't realize how much you were eating. "I wasn't even hungry, but I was just eating because it was a Keto food and I thought I could do that". You can overeat good food. So if you aren't seeing the results that you want, or you feel like it's not going fast enough. Let's be real, it takes time and consistency. I've heard this saying before, it's not new, "Oftentimes people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year, and underestimate what they can accomplish in five years". I say that even in your health, let's relate this to your fat loss. Oftentimes people overestimate what they can accomplish with their fat loss in a month, and underestimate what they can accomplish in a year. What if I set it that way? Does that give you a different relatability? You didn't get to where you are today, and you're not going to get to where you want to go tomorrow.

Avoid eating out of the bag, use the smaller bags
It takes consistent time and effort in a year. I tell people it takes a year, it took me a year to truly have confidence in making low carb keto meals, and to feel like I knew what I was doing, and not be overwhelmed. A year of just food and drinking ketones once a day. Not getting overwhelmed with it, but like getting what it is.

Tracking my food anywhere from two to three weeks, maybe it was even a month at the very beginning. To visibly understand what I was eating, and to help myself understand if I'm hungry or am I bored?. It's little tips and tricks, like taking a measuring cup when you get a big bag at Costco, which is my favorite store. Anything that would be a snack, and measuring it out into a little baggie. That way when you're hungry you can just grab this small bag and not this whole bag... How often do you just snack, just because you're snacking, you're bored, you're emotional and it's in front of you. "Out of sight, out of mind"...


And so all I want you to be aware of is, "What gets measured, gets managed". You can manage this small bag, right? You can realize that it actually filled you up, and it's plenty of almonds for a snack. Maybe I'm just thirsty, maybe I need to drink more water? Am I truly hungry, or am I just eating because it's in front of me?. Or tracking all of your food, thinking you were doing great, getting to the end of the day, and realizing you ate a ridiculous amount of carbs. Where did those carbs come from? And then being aware of the foods that you're eating, it's just having an awareness.

Tracking, measuring, managing your food or snacks, will just give you an awareness of what you're eating so that you can make it a lifestyle, and you don't have to track for the rest of your life. You can have the awareness, and you can make better choices long term... So that is the tip of the day, "What gets measured, gets managed". It's true, it really does help you not overeat.
