So you're going to stay on track, binge eat, or you're going to do an "Either", "Or" option. Just do the best that you can, do not stuff yourself but just eat better. In my head, this has helped me over the years. I'm like, "I'm going to have that and maybe I'll pass on that". So I'm going to say pass on the corn fluff, but I'm going to have the brown beans that my sister makes, which are so incredible.

Hey everybody! Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie and we're going to dive into a four o'clock tasting and a Keto tip. So last month, I did the tastings and a Keto tip usually at two and three o'clock. But if your day is like mine, it has been an incredible first day of November. If you're watching and it's not live, then you may catch us on a different day. But for me, it is a new day, a new month, and it has been going by way too fast. Today I had lots of zooms, I had guests that stopped over, we have homeschool, we homeschool our four daughters. So it's been one of those days, and now I am here. I'm going to give you a Keto tip, and share my ketones with you as I usually do.
So where are you tuning in from? It's November! And I know we should always think like this, but I think of November and I think Thanksgiving, being thankful and grateful. I do hate that I'm more aware of it this month. But what are you thankful for? What is one thing you're thankful for today?...
So I'm going to shake up my ketones, and I have a super fun trial pack. If you've never tried these, I'm going to show you. But I'm going to shake up "Hibiscus Lemonade". How was your day? So as I'm shaking up my Mom Fuel, I'm going to give you a Keto tip. It's really a thought that you're going to take to all of the holiday parties, family gatherings, and all the employee lounge, food snack treat. Everything that you're going to see for the next sixty days, I'm going to give you a thought. Oftentimes I'll hear people say one or two things, "I am not going to be ruined by these holidays", "I am focused", "I'm ready to go", "I'm going to do great"... Maybe that's you, or I have people that are like, "I'm going to restart in January", "I'm going to enjoy these next sixty days", "I'm going to enjoy all of the holiday food", or "Message me in January, and I'll get back on track"...
I don't want you to do that, but I also don't want you to feel like you can't enjoy yourself with your family, your co workers and your friends. I don't know if I came up with it, but I had this idea years ago. It was an "Either", "Or" thought... What if I choose the apple pie, or the pumpkin pie? Not both, but either of the two.
But first of all, keep your hands out of that candy bucket. You should drink some of this Ketones because it's super helpful. I should be drinking caffeine free, although caffeine doesn't affect me by the way. My Mom Fuel comes in caffeine and caffeine free. It's now four o'clock, and it's my sister's birthday today. So I'm going to go have a fun little party with her this evening. I'm not affected by caffeine, but we do have caffeine free.

I do have four daughters, and it's fun to listen to their different verbiage... You don't have to be doing a keto diet, and I'm going to give you an example of how I will use this, going into all of these holiday meals. Now here's the concept that I like to use, "Either", "Or"... I tell people, it's not like you're not going to enjoy yourself with your family. some of you won't, because some of you are so focused and so on track. You're going to go in and eat the veggies, the turkey, or maybe even make some keto options. That's awesome! But not all of you will do that, so I want you to think of this one saying that will help you to learn this phrase...

Okay, going back... Let's say you go to a party? You're not going to dig into this bucket of candy that you might have on your counter, from now until the next party. We are going to say that the candy bucket should be off limits. There's no reason to eat it, go give it away, go sell it to the dentis, or just do something. Half the candy is disgusting anyways... Second of all, you do not need to be snacking and eating all of the treats that all of the stores have decorated so cutely for the holidays. If you can stay focused, and on the day that you have your family gathering, which is on November 25, that's Thanksgiving here in the United States.
Some of you aren't from the United States, by the way that's actually our anniversary too. It will be seventeen years when we got married on Thanksgiving, on the actual Thanksgiving Day seventeen years ago. I'll have to tell you our story on Thanksgiving, it was sweet. I should do a fun price...
But anyways, let's say that you have the gathering at your home. You get to control what you make, so you can make some better, healthier options. But if you go somewhere else, I want you to think that there's usually going to be a whole bunch of options. What if instead of having the mashed potatoes "and" the bread, you have the mashed potatoes "or" the bread?. So if you want to eat better, but not completely binge, you're going to be one of three people. You're going to be super strict, and you're only going to choose the things that align with your goals. You're going to be number two, who binges and eats whatever you want, that's up to you. Or number three, what if you just choose some better options. Maybe you love mashed potatoes like I do, so I would much rather have mashed potatoes than buns, because I really don't like bread.
So "Either", "Or", let's say the Pumpkin pie versus Apple pie. Usually people eat a ridiculous amount of dessert, but what if you were like, "I love Apple pie, and I actually do not like pumpkin pie. So I'm going to have a piece of the Apple pie. I don't need both". "I don't need eighteen scoops of ice cream", "I don't need any whipped cream, I just need a little piece of apple pie"... What if you mentally you said, "I'm going to enjoy myself with my family", "I'm going to have an either, or"...
So you're going to stay on track, binge, or you're going to do an "Either", "Or" option. Just do the best that you can, do not stuff yourself but just eat better. In my head, this has helped me over the years. I'm like, "I'm going to have that and maybe I'll pass on that". "I'm going to pass on the fluff corn"... I don't know if any of you guys ever had that, but in our family gatherings we have this corn fluff. So I'm going to say pass on the corn fluff, but I'm going to have the brown beans that my sister makes that are so incredible.
So it's just a thought, it's just to get your mind rolling. Especially when you're diving into the next sixty days of a plethora of sugar everywhere. Does this make sense? I'd love to know... If you want to share, which person do you see yourself being? Are you completely on track, like not cheating. Doing a solid like, "Nope, I'm going to January and I'm going to be down another twenty pounds". Number two, you might be the person that gains to twenty pounds. Maybe you'll find person one is twenty pounds because you don't even care. Or maybe you're number three where you're going to do the best that you can, and just make the best choices. You're not going to binge eat all the way up to Thanksgiving, your family's gathering, or all the way up to December.
But you're still going to enjoy yourself on those strategic days, not all of the days though. Yes, I'm going to be number three, you could make some better options. It's "Either", "Or", just think about "Either", "Or", and I'm going to do better, I'm going to make better choices.
And since you're so amazing, you're going to grab a trial pack of ketones the next day. After you eat a little bit outside of what you normally eat, you might feel like garbage. Usually I'll eat something and then I'd realize it was a bad decision.
So I drink my ketones, it's not a magic pill, but it gets me back on track. I drink my ketones, I do not binge for the rest of the month, I'm back on track, and I feel great.
