All I'm simply saying is if you can get up in the morning, and you don't hit the snooze button, maybe work out in the evenings, then go do that. If you can get up, be grateful, read a little bit, move your body, get your mindset right, journal, and tell yourself how amazing you are. Then you're going to have a better day throughout the entire day because you've already set yourself in motion to be positive.

Hey! Welcome to the Keto Mom page. If you're watching it in the morning, it's morning for you, but it is not morning for me. Welcome to the Keto Mom page, my name is Stephanie. And we are diving into our two o'clock tasting and a Keto tip. All right! Where are you tuning in from and how is your day going? We are going to talk about owning your morning and owning your day. I briefly touched on it this morning, during my mindset and during reading. We're currently going through a book called "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, and as I was talking, I thought "Oh my goodness!"... Clearly, I talk a lot about mindset so I'll give you lots of different tips and tricks.

But honestly, I really have a serious question for you, I need you to answer me. And the question is "Do you feel like you own your morning?" And what does owning your morning really mean?

Do you feel if you get up and you do the things that you want to do, like work out, getting some peace and quiet time, and getting some thinking time, like when you get up and you are not immediately in the hustle and bustle of life. Do you feel like if you get up in the morning and you get all your things done, you make better choices throughout the day?

So there are Two different mornings... There's one where you get up and you are peaceful. You've got time on your side, you've gotten up early, worked out, planned your breakfast and you did all of your things. And there's a morning where you hit the snooze button, you didn't hear your alarm, the kids woke you up or you're running late and you missed the bus... Do you feel like your morning really, truly depicts the rest of your day?

I would love to know what you think and I need you to respond. It's very important... So as you're responding, I'm going to shake up my Mom Fuel. I'm shaking up "Hibiscus Lemonade" today, mainly because I'm waiting for a lot of Ketones to get to my house because so many people have gotten trial packs and I'm very low. I think I've got two flavors until they all come in the mail... So yes! I see it. I agree that if I own my morning and I feel like my mindset is right, I'm in a better mood. Like if I've taken care of all of the things, then I'm going to make better decisions throughout my day. I'm going to walk you through what it looks like to own your morning. That has been a lot of people's question, "You keep saying own your morning, own your morning. What does that look like I don't even know where to start?"... I'm going to help you with that.

Your Keto tip is going to be based on having a Morning Set-Up, to help you create systems and habits so that you will make better choices and ultimately hit your goals.

That is the topic of today! I'm going to stir up my Mom Fuel, which I drink every single day, for the last six and a half years. I'm going to be really honest... For those of you who are like"Stop pitching a product". I'm going to say most people need a tool to help them, and this is what helps me. Your tool might be coffee or energy drinks. If you don't like it, you can leave. I know that was really blunt.

But sometimes, and you probably know this, you have people like co-workers, friends or family, or followers that love to share their input with you. And when you put yourself out there, which everybody on here probably is, because you're all going through a lifestyle change. You are all focusing on better. And when you do that, the haters love to come and tell you what they think. So I'm going to tell you...

Here's a bonus tip of the day and then we're going to dive into owning your morning. When you decide to go after better, eat healthier, work out and get stronger. Or maybe say no to the birthday cake when you're at a party, or all of the family is there and it's so rude for you to say no. When you are focused, and you're going strong. People love to tell you what they think... "That will never work", "I can't believe you're doing it", "How rude for you not to eat my cake", "Oh, just try a little bit of it. I made it for you"... You're going to have haters, and you're going to have to stand strong. You're going to have to say no. "No, I am on a path to better", "I love you, thanks for making the cake. I think you're amazing"...

Encourage those around you and you stand strong because usually what happens is, haters come out and you have to just to tell them "Get behind me, I'm fine"... All right! That was your bonus tip "You Stand Strong".
Six Steps to Own your Morning Everday

Okay! How in the world do we own our morning? Who has read this book? I'm not going to read the book to you. I'm not going to give you the whole overview. It's not the book club right now "Keto Mom always brings up books"... Listen! Leaders are Learners and People are learners. The ones who go further faster in life, the ones who succeed, the ones that you're looking at the ones that you're like "I wish I had that person's metabolism", "I wish I was lucky like that person", "I wish I had what that person had"...

Those people that you're watching and learning from, do you know what they do? They read and they follow others. They learn from other people's mistakes, and then they go further faster...

We went through the book "Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod. So I'm going to give you an understanding of what owning your morning could look like. Your Keto tip is simply this if you can own your morning and not get up frazzled because you've hit your snooze button eighteen times. If you've got a clear focus, then you are going to make better choices throughout your entire day. It's proven!

When you've got a positive mindset, it's going to be easier for you to say no to the sweet treats at the office. Say no to the teachers in the teacher's lounge, not go through the drive-thru because your crabby and you need to eat your emotions today. We're not going to do that! So in this book "Miracle Morning", which I would highly recommend you get it. I'm not going to go through it with you, since it's an easy read. Here is what the Miracle Morning could look like for you, I'm going to show it to you. I'll hold it for a second, and you can take a screenshot so that you can see it and that you can work on your own "Miracle Morning". Did you get it? Did you get your screenshot? Alright! Are you ready? So here's what this could look like for you. If you can get up and give yourself one hour... Now the book breaks it down into giving yourself 60 minutes in the morning of working on "You". Then you're going to do better overall and you're going to own your morning. Some people would only do six minutes.

You can start your day with words of Affirmations
But whether it's six minutes or sixty minutes, if you can get up and have five minutes of quiet time. Like just sit at the edge of your bed, sit there and be thankful. My husband's really great and before his feet hit the floor, he lays there for a minute and just says all the things he's thankful for.

So if you can get up and sit there for five minutes and just have a heart of gratitude, that is going to kick start your morning. Five minutes of Affirmations. If you watched my stories today, one of our daughters Eliza did her "I am statements". Who knows what an "I am" statement is? "I am" affirmations are what are you're wanting in life. I want you to write them down and speak them.

You can go Google "How to make affirmations". What is an affirmation? It's like saying "I am strong"... I think Eliza's was "I am strong", "I remember what I learned", "I am wise" and "I am healthy"... Your affirmations, you might not 100% believe them right now. But I want you to speak them over your life. Your words are powerful.

Okay! Visualization and Five minutes. This would be where your vision board could come in, so look at your vision boards. What are you wanting to go after? It could be just looking out over the lake and visualizing what you're wanting for your day. What do you want your day to look like? Do you see it?

All of this can be done in 15 minutes. Silence, Affirmations, and Visualization. The book says 20 minutes of exercise, go for a walk, and move your body. Just grab your coffee and walk around your island for 20 minutes in the morning. You could do this all at one time. Grab your coffee, if that's your beverage of choice in the morning, mine is Ketones. Which by the way "Hibiscus Lemonade" is incredible. Okay! Do you know what you could do? You could get up, say what you're thankful for. Tell yourself what you're thankful for. Go get your coffee and walk around your island for 20 minutes for your morning body workout, while saying "I am Amazing", "I'm going to conquer today", "I am twenty pounds lighter", "I am healthy". "I eat Low Carb", "I have amazing energy"...

I highly recommend you get this book!
What if you walked around for 20 minutes in the morning, and just tell yourself how incredible you are or whatever comes out. So twenty minutes of reading... Remember I said if you're following people that have already had success? They're reading, they're learning from others, they've got mentors and they're listening to podcasts.

You really will not have great success in life without following others and learning. You guys! It's a mindset! Your Keto Tip of the day and every day should be "How is your mindset?"... Are you thankful, grateful, positive, negative, or where you at? And then lastly, five minutes of journaling. So this is what the author would say a "Miracle Morning" looks like. All I'm simply saying is if you can get up in the morning, and you don't hit the snooze button, maybe work out in the evenings, then go do that. If you can get up, be grateful, read a little bit, move your body, get your mindset right, journal, and tell yourself how amazing you are.

Then you're going to have a better day throughout the entire day because you've already set yourself in motion to be positive.

"I'm going to choose better", "I'm going to make a better meal choice", "I'm going to choose better while I go out to eat with my co-workers", "Instead of grabbing the coke, I'm going to grab water or Ketones"...You will make better choices when you get up with a positive mindset. So this is what a "Miracle Morning" could look like, and again if you don't do this for an hour, it doesn't mean that you failed.

Try doing these 6 minutes every morning, every day

He said to start with six minutes, like one minute of each of these steps. What if you got up ten minutes early... Six of those minutes, you do one minute of silence and one minute of Affirmations. Just sit there and tell yourself how great you are. One minute visualization and one minute of exercise. Sit in your bathroom and do squats until the minute is up. One minute of reading, just go read two pages and then one minute of journaling. If you did that "Six minutes" like you just sat there and did those things, or even just a minute of gratitude.

How do you think that you'd feel overall throughout the day? I want you to understand something, I feel like some of you were like "Can you just give me a Keto tip?", "Can you just tell me what to eat?"... You guys feel like that? Would you rather have me tell you like "Alright! This recipe calls for?"... I don't know, is this making sense? I need to know if this is helpful or not. Tell me if this helps? Yes or no...

And for those of you who've been here for a while, I actually got a really great message earlier today that said "Listen, I've been reading books for months. And a hundred percent hands down, I've been more positive ever in my life"... Which I think is great!

So your Keto tip is simply "If you own your morning, you're going to own your day". If you get up frazzled, shaking up and crabby? Then you're going to put that donut in your face... All right! I think you guys are great. The book is great, I would highly recommend getting it and keeping it on your counter. I have books all over my house, some are on our counter. And somebody asked me the other day... You guys should see this, it's kind of embarrassing but I'm going to show you something.

That is my Thinking Cart, where I keep my books and get my ideas!

But I just have all of these books that I'm working through right now and the things that I'm pulling ideas from. I'm like "Oh, this is so good, I need to revisit it". It's in that cart, and it's really a mess. My home school area is more of a mess, but it's fine. It's kind of all over our house. So here's the deal, I'm always here to help.

So if you decide that you actually need some "Solid Keto tips", then I'm going to give them to you. I'll say drink about half your body weight in ounces of water. If you're doing strict Keto, make sure you're drinking electrolytes because it's very important. If you have cramps at night you need electrolytes. Make sure you're getting plenty of sleep. Make sure you're tracking your food if you're not seeing the progress that you want.

So if you've got goals like fifty pounds of fat loss, you don't just get lucky. You can't hope your fat loss away. You don't get lucky and it doesn't go away. It's not how it works.

You've got goals, and also like in the book "Atomic Habits", James Clear said, "You don't rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems"... And that my friend, is a system. Owning your morning is a system and if you do that consistently over time, you will get to where you want to go. You will reach your goals, but it will not happen by itself. It will not happen because you just got lucky and lost fifty pounds. No! You are strategic and you put systems and habits in place. You are determined, you are focused and you go after it. No matter what anybody else says. Alright! I'm going to let you guys go. We've got volleyball and we're almost done. The season is done by October 19.
