Thinking For A Change: Everything Begins With A Thought

Good morning! Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie, and I'm going to talk about something that we've already talked about before. And I honestly think that if you can understand and put this into practice, it will change everything in your life.


Just a few things first...

  • What was one of the first thoughts that you thought of when you woke up this morning?

  • Did you get up this morning with a negative or a positive mindset?

  • Did you get up and scroll through social media, or did you get up and listen to something positive?

  • Did you read or listen to something that's going to help elevate your thinking?

  • Did you take a second to say things that you are thankful for?

  • What was the first thing that you did this morning?


Are you brave enough to share it? I would love to know. There are certain things I'll say on this page that will honestly change the outcome of the goals you're achieving or not achieving.


If you're here on the Keto Mom page to lose some fat, there are simple steps that when done consistently over time, will work.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗸𝗲𝘆.

Simple steps like:

  • Power of your mindset.

  • Drinking ketones.

  • Drinking water.

  • Not eating when you're not hungry.

  • Taking the buns off the burger.

  • Getting the sugar out of your house.

  • Dumping out the candy drawer.


These are just simple things that if done long-term or for the next 90 days, will help you get further faster.


If you consistently took massive action on your health for a year, not messing up good for perfect, but just doing these simple actions, then you will be able to reach your goals.

I actually say the same things over and over again...

  1. What's in your shaker bottle?

  2. How often are you eating?

  3. Are you overeating?

  4. You can overeat good food.

  5. Don't eat if you're not hungry.

  6. Cut out the sugar.

  7. Move your body.

  8. Pay attention to your sleep.


If these things were done, it will surely work. Everybody's bodies are different. It might take somebody a little bit longer than others.


𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁.

And so I was up this morning, I was reading my Bible. I was looking through books and I noticed a book that I've never read before. He's an incredible author, his name is John Maxwell and the book is called "Thinking For A Change".


Any book about mindset or self-development book usually starts with thinking. I really would like to give the Keto Mom audience something different. But there's nothing really different with these books. You just have to actually hear what's being said, either from me or somebody else. You have to take action and actually do the work. With that, here's the simple thought for today.


"Everything begins with a thought. Life consists of what a man is thinking about all day".
  • What did you think about when you first got up this morning?

  • Was it negative or positive?

  • Was it "I have to go to work" or "I get to go to work?"


"I have to" or "I get to is huge".

"I'm so thankful for" or "I can't believe".


𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆.
"The problem with most educational institutions is that they try to teach people what to think, not how to think. Knowledge alone is not power".
"Knowledge has value only in the hands of someone who has the ability to think well. People must learn how to think well to achieve their dreams and reach their potential".

It's not what you know! Some of you have been on this Keto Mom page and every other keto page on social media for years. You know what you need to do. You've been told to drink more water, move your body, and cut down the carbs and sugar. I've been telling you to drink ketones and work on not being so stressed out.


If we removed all of the social media, everything that you've been taught, or the people that you follow, do you feel like you have enough knowledge to actually know what you're doing?


𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗬𝗲𝘀! 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴.
"Becoming a better thinker is worth your effort because the way you think really impacts every aspect of your life".
"It doesn't matter whether you are a businessman, a teacher, a parent, a scientist, a pastor, a child, or a teen. Good thinking will improve your life".

"Poor thinking produces negative progress. Average thinking produces no progress. Good thinking produces some progress. And great thinking produces great progress".


How do we do that? I say it every morning. What did you think about when you got up? What are you thankful for? Let's start your day off in the right direction. Start taking action on the knowledge and wisdom you've already received over the last few years.


"Yet, one of the reasons people don't achieve their dreams is, they desire to change the result without changing their thinking".

𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀.

If you're not doing something to improve your mindset, like affirmations, listening to somebody, reading, or having an attitude of gratitude, you're probably not going to have a great day.


"But that's not going to work. If you expect to reap corn when you plant Nestle's, you're not going to get corn. No matter how much time you spend watering, fertilizing, and cultivating your plants, you will get what you plant".
"If you don't like the crop that you're receiving, if you don't like the crop that you are reaping, you need to change the seeds that you were sowing. Do you want to achieve your goals? Then you need to sow a seed of good thinking".

This is probably one of the easiest things for you to do, to start seeing different results in your life. Start with your mindset, before you even focus on the food that you put in your mouth.


If you believe that you can do something, you're speaking positive words, you're thankful for the things around you, and you're being a positive person, then you are going to start making better decisions.


𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝟱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵.
  • I'm going to achieve.

  • I'm thankful.

  • I'm worth it.

  • I can do this.

  • I will, I can, I have.

That's it! I don't know if I'm going to go through the entire book. But I'm going to scroll through it and share a couple of things as we go along.


𝗜 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀.
There's no secret to losing weight or achieving what you want. It actually all starts in your mind.
The power of your thinking, and the power of your words. Making consistent efforts and small changes throughout your day, every single day.

Not just for a week or a month, but for at least a year. Or you can start in the next 90 days. Where will you be in 90 days, or by the end of this year? Take some time and write out what you're thankful for. Get up and be that positive person.


You're going to have a great day. Pray over your kids and encourage them.


  • Stop all the negative talk.

  • Stop fighting.

  • Stop bickering.

  • Stop yelling at yourself in the mirror.


Encourage yourself.

Be thankful that you're alive.

Get up and be thankful for another day.


If you plant corn, you're going to get corn. If you plant positive thinking, positive words, and positive self-talk, then that's what you're going to get. And you're ultimately going to get throughout your day.


𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.

If you plant the negative seeds, you get up and you're crabby, you're griping at yourself, you don't like how you look, or you're just in a constant state of negativity. Then that's what you're gonna get.
