Hey everybody! Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie and we are diving into a brand new book called, "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz. It's the 1st of March today. We're diving into the first half of chapter 1, and it's going to be great.
We've been going through different books and reading together. We started in April, so in a month's time, it's already been a year since we started working on your mindset. So many people want to dominate their diets, lose 50 pounds, feel healthy, and get stronger, but they're not willing to work on their mindset.
What we learned over the last year is that successful people do certain things. If you want to be successful in any area of your life, we've got to follow the people that have already done it. We have to follow mentors or listen to podcasts, and the key is to implement what you've learned.
So the reason we're working on our mindset is that, if we have a positive mindset, we're going to go further faster.
We're going to have a better outlook on life, better relationships, better jobs, better thoughts, a better attitude, and it's going to improve our health. We're going to make better choices, accomplish our goals and lose that fat because we've changed our mindset.
You can scroll through the Keto Mom page all day long since 2015. There are a lot of recipes, tips, tricks, ideas, and all of which are based on low carb and keto. But I still believe the number one most important thing is your mindset.

Just tell yourself and remind yourself that your thoughts create your feelings, which creates action. And then, negative or positive, I get what I think about.
Alright! We're diving into "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz. I will not read to you the entire book, but I will read little bits and pieces which are highlights to the book. The first chapter is really great, and it sets you up for believing you can succeed.
How do I believe that I can succeed?
Yesterday, we talked about the power of our brains. But success is determined, not so much by the size of one's brain, as it is by the size of one's thinking.
Do you sway more on the positive side or the negative side of thinking? Are you more of a positive or negative thinker? If you're on the negative side, it's fine, we're going to switch it up.
"Success means many wonderful, positive things".
Some people don't like certain words for whatever reason. For example, the word "Success", some are triggered by it and would even say, "You'll never be successful", or "Why do you get to be successful?"... And some would only associate it with finances, which is not true.
𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳, "𝗪𝗵𝘆?"
WHY is it making you feel less than?

For you right now, success might mean fat loss or getting healthy. So whatever spoke in life you're working towards, it could be relationships, finances, spiritual health, mental health, physical, or Emotional Health.
All those things tie together, and if one of the spokes is broken, it's going to affect every other area of your life.
But if you can understand the power of thinking big and working on your mental health, then it's going to affect all of these areas in a positive way. It could be reading one page a day, tuning into the book club, or switching your morning routine. There are so many things that can help you get on track in the morning, to set your entire day up.

A mountain in your life can look different than mine. For example, I just got a message this morning from somebody who I dearly love, and she was being sued for something that she didn't do. That is her mountain right now.
Can the mountain be moved? 100%! But it's going to take action, belief, and prayer. Everybody has mountains. Do you believe you can get on the other side of the mountain? Or are you going to stay behind it and let life run you over?
It's going to take time, action, and digging into whatever your mountain is. You've got to get over it or crush through it to get to the next mountain, it's a part of life.

Do you really believe that you can get healthy? Do you really believe you can get stronger, be healthy, lose weight, and feel better? Because if you don't believe it, you will not achieve it. It starts with your mindset.
You might have to get up every morning and tell yourself...
I can do this
I can make better choices
I will be healthy
I will be strong
You need to believe it, and how-tos will come to play. "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘄-𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻"
The mountain might be the donut. It might sound silly, but that donut draws you in every morning. And every day you've said yes. That might seem like a crazy mountain but everybody has different strongholds and different cravings. Everybody has different things that control their life.
So if your mountain right now is the donut, then today you have to say NO to the mountain.
You've got bigger goals, and you are going to achieve them, so say NO. Don't overthink this.
You probably already know how to do it.
You know how to move your body.
You know how to go for a walk.
You know how to read one page to work on your mindset.
You know how to eat
If I send you to a gas station, and I let you choose among the following, which would you choose?
Pizza or Salad, and meat and cheese?
Water or the Coke?
Keto snack or the Debbie snack?
Don't overthink this, you know what you need to do to get healthy. It's just a matter of time, effort, and energy. But if you don't believe and you don't see yourself being healthier, stronger, leaner, thinner, then you will not achieve it. Because it all starts with your beliefs.

It's going to happen overnight. And if you have a goal of losing 50 pounds, then you're going to have to give yourself at least six months. Are you willing to do that?

And I'm sharing it with you for the next 90 days. Because in 90 days, summer is here
If you got focused, what could you accomplish in 90 days?
You could accomplish new habits, better systems, better beliefs, feel better and look differently if you committed to 90 days. If you give it a try, but then you don't believe it will happen, that attitude produces failure.
It's not wavering back and forth, but you have to believe that you will reach this goal. You have to tell yourself every morning, I will do this
I'm going to do this
I'm going to be healthier
I'm going to be stronger
I'm going to lose 50 pounds

If you believe you can do it, the how-tos will follow. And I'm going to guess that most of you know how to lose weight. Most of you have done it in the past. I know this because 90% of the messages I get will say that they've done it before, but fell off the last two years.
That's still awesome because you know how to do it. And then I'll probably ask you, what are you reading? We need to work on our mindset, so we can do it again.
We don't know the timeframe, but consistent action over time will get you to where you want to go.
If you're following along with the pages, we're going to end on page 17. He tells a ton of stories, but I'm not going to read all the stories to you. There was a story here though, wherein he was telling a story about a job that he wanted. He didn't believe he was going to get it. He was looking at all of his friends and all of his friends were successful. And he asked, "Why am I not successful when I'm not very different from my friends?".

Most people don't believe they can have success because they don't believe they are worthy. Somebody probably told you a long time ago, that you're not worth it, don't even try, or you will never succeed. Put all of that in the past, because there comes a point where you have to draw a line in the sand and you have to believe that you are worthy.
You are worthy of success in many different areas. You are worthy to be healthy and get stronger, just as much as anybody.
There isn't one person in this world that is more important than you are. We all have our roles to play. We all have gifts and talents that we are called to do on this earth. There are people that need you.

You might feel like you don't have anybody's support. But you have to do it. You're going to have to believe in yourself. Just say it out loud. Look in the mirror and tell yourself, "I believe in you. You might not believe it right now, but every day, I believe in you".
That is the power of affirmations.
You are strong
You're going to lose 50 pounds
You're going to feel better
You're going to get healthier
Believe in yourself and good things will start happening.
