Hey everybody! Good morning, Happy Saturday. Welcome to the Keto Mom page. We're going to dive into a whole bunch of different things. We're prepping for a fun Christmas party that great-grandma is having today. So I'm not going to go through the 5-Second Rule right now, I'll continue that on Monday and we're going to finish it next week. And then by the last week of December, before the new year starts, I'm going to walk you through how to write your goals, so that you are prepared for the new year...

So as you're tuning in, how is your Saturday morning going? We're going to a party, I'll show you what I'm bringing but before we start. What did I make today? I made a meat and cheese tray. It's super easy! We're doing a potluck, and we're all bringing different things. I'll show you what I'm making, it's quite delicious and it's very easy to make in a crockpot...

Tell me, If you go to a potluck anytime during this month, what are you bringing? I always bring things that I want to eat. I'm bringing buffalo chicken dip. It's just rotisserie chicken, cream cheese, a little bit of ranch, sour cream, and then buffalo dip. It's super simple, easy and it's a low carb option. I'm also bringing some meat, cheese and I have a veggie tray too. Anytime I go someplace, I always love to bring things that are the best options so that it's great for everybody...

You can go through my stories real quick, I shared like forty books with you there. I got this book as a gift, it's called "Goals" by Zig Ziglar. I'm going to go over something that I read today and it's just incredible. I'm also going to walk you through the book by the end of the month. You don't have to have the book, you just have to write it down...

We are still doing our 12 Days of Christmas!
But before we do that, today is day six of the twelve Days of Christmas by Pruvit. They are gifting us with "Fueled by Female", which is now back. I'll give you two videos to watch, they're like three to five minutes long. One of them explains about the "Fueled by female" which is my Mom Fuel. It's called keto NAT, it comes in three different colored boxes and all the same flavor.

The difference between the regular Keto NAT versus the "Fueled by Female" is, it has different things like vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, and folate. I share a lot of different things, there's a liquid or the powder one. All you have to do is mix it in water, but the Fueled by Female just has more vitamins. "Goals" by Zig Ziglar

Let's talk about what we're going to be doing in the next year. We've got some cool fat loss challenges coming up. You can win some prizes and some money. I'm going to be posting more about that probably after Christmas, once I have all the details. It's going to be great!... Okay! I was also reading the book, "Goals" this morning. But I had to cut up a whole bunch of meat, cheese, and I had to prepare all of the food this morning. We are about to go have some fun with the family in just a little bit. We will be having parties today until Christmas...

So are you hosting, or are you going somewhere? I have already hosted all of the things that I'm supposed to be hosting until the end of the year. We are now going other places, which I'm quite relieved... And so here you go, Fueled by Female tastes amazing, actually, all of them do. Okay! Here's what I was reading today, "Goals" by Zig Ziglar. By the way, this book was sent to me by my friends, Liz, Jhun, and Abbey all the way from the Philippines, they are incredible friends of ours. So I was just skimming through the book, I will go through it by the end of the month so make sure you're tuning in. I'm going to read something to you, it's a thought that I think is great.
What are the 9 Steps To Setting Goals?

He said, "Here are Nine steps to setting goals". I'm not going to go over specifics right now, I will do that in a week. But here are the nine steps. First, you're going to write your goals down. Second, you're going to ask yourself, "Why are you going after the goals?". Third, you're going to eliminate some things that are not your Best Yes. Fourth, he talked about "Balance". Fifth, he talked about "Explore". The sixth step is called, "Stretch". Seventh is "Negativity check". And then I want to talk to you about the Eighth step real quick. It said, "Ask yourself five questions", and you can reflect by asking these questions to yourself. He said, "Ask yourself these five questions as you're diving into your goals for this next year". As I was reading them, I thought these points are good and I need to share them. We'll talk more specifically about them soon.

By the way, are you guys having a good morning? I put some lipstick on today, I thought I would get dressed up. I kind of felt empowered as I put makeup on today. I thought to myself, "Maybe I should get ready more often". We homeschool our four kids and we work from home, so I often don't get dressed up ever. I usually live in my pajamas, and I thought I could probably put myself together...

Anyway, going back to the book. He said, "Here are the five questions I want you to ask yourself as you're setting goals. First, Is it really my goal? Second, is this goal morally right and fair to everyone that it concerns? Third, will this goal take me closer, or further away from my major objectives?"... I think oftentimes we set goals but we don't know why we're doing it. We don't have an outcome with it. We need to think of everybody that's within our sphere of influence, like our kids and family. How is it going to affect them? Are they on board? Have you explained it to them?...

5 Questions to ask yourself, when setting goals
So two more questions. "Fourth, can I emotionally commit myself to starting and finishing"... I think oftentimes we don't talk enough in January, about finishing these new year's resolutions or these goals. We all want to start, which is great! But then let's set a date to finish it.
Specific S.M.A.R.T goals, we're going to talk about that as well. Can I emotionally start it? Can I get through this middle mundane? Which should be a happy middle, and am I committed to finishing?. Okay! So the Fifth and last question is, "Can I see myself reaching this goal?".

Oftentimes, we set these lofty goals, like "I want to lose a hundred pounds", "I want to make a million dollars", or "I want to be debt-free this year". But he also said, we have these huge goals but do you see yourself reaching these goals? Or do we need to set a realistic S.M.A.R.T goal? Like, "I can commit to this", or "I'm going to start and I'm going to finish"... These questions are great, and in addition to the steps in setting goals, we also have the final step. He said, "Choose your top four", we're going to walk through that, I promise. This book is short, it's great, and it has places for you to write things down.

So if you're looking for a book to do before January 1, get this book. I already love it, it's called "Goals" by Zig Ziglar. He is very specific, like "Here's what you're going to do", "Here's a formula, write this down", "I want you to brainstorm", or "I want you to take some time and figure this out". That way, when January comes, you know what to do. It's just so good! I'm excited to go through this with you or to explain what it's all about. Alright! So I hope you have an incredible day.
