Good morning! Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie and I am prepping for Christmas Eve dinner. Today, we're going to talk about goals and I'm about to shake up my ketones too. And so as you're tuning in, where are you tuning in from? I'm in Minnesota and it is raining. I'm actually making the meat now and prepping for dinner. What are you doing? Who's still doing some shopping? Merry Christmas Eve! We had our church service last night, and we did a Merry Christmas Eve service.

I also just started some laundry, I actually did a whole bunch of laundry. We're also going to be driving to Ohio tomorrow. I already prepped and packed a majority of our stuff last night. We'll be spending Christmas with my husband's family today. We're hosting a teeny tiny gathering tonight, for Christmas Eve, and then we're going to lunch at his sister's house. We have all those things lightened up, and it's going to be so fun.

Alright! Here's what I want to chat about real quick, I'm not going to keep you long. I haven't even had my ketones yet, and I've been running around the house while preparing some things. Yesterday afternoon, I actually started the book about, "Goals" by Zig Ziglar. If you did not watch the live video, it's okay, I'm still going to go over it today. Then we're going to dive into setting goals for the rest of the month. That way, when the new year comes, you will be ready to go...

We actually just finished the book, "The 5-Second Rule" by Mel Robbins, which is an incredible tool. We're going to talk about a whole bunch of different tools that you can use as you go into the new year. We're going to talk about different tools that can help you with your fat loss, help you stay organized, and help you stay focused. Tools are super important. You can try to do it by yourself, but if you have a tool to help you, it just makes it more simple...
The first action step for you, if you're going to focus on goals right now and not wait until January, is simply get a notebook, journal, or piece of paper and write down everything that you want to do.

So when you get a chance today, in the midst of everything that you're doing. I would want for you to just take five or ten minutes and do a brain dump. Get a piece of paper and write down "What do I really want this year?". Me? I really need to add more to my list. I came up with not very many things, and I realized that I clearly need to dream more... So again, your first action step in setting goals is, just to get a piece of paper and write down everything that you want to do, have or be. Just anything that's in your heart. And then, I'm going to give you the next action step because my hope is that we can cover a couple of important things between now and the end of the year. I feel like we still have weeks left but, we actually have a few days left...

Okay! So after you write your goals down, you're supposed to let them sit there. Think about it, add more to it, and when you are ready, write the word "Why" after each goal. Let me show you the list I've written for my goals. After every goal, I wrote "Why" beside it. You can do the same thing, so after writing down your goals, just add "Why" beside it...
