Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie and we are continuing our journey on "Dream It, Pin It, Live It" by Terri Savelle Foy. Share something you're thankful for, it will honestly help you throughout your day. A thankful heart will help you choose wisely and feel great.


We're going to start creating. I think the mindset is important and I really want to help you create your vision to help you understand the power of writing your goals down. That's what this book is about, figuring out what you want, writing it down, creating a vision board, and taking the actions to go after those goals.


  • What do you want?

  • Do you have a vision for your life?

  • Do you have goals and dreams that you have been going after for years, and you haven't set specific goals and actions to accomplish them?


𝗢𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

You feel too old, or you think it's too late. Whatever you've been saying to yourself, we're going to switch it.


ACTION STEPS:


1. BRAINSTORMING


Get out a journal, and write 101 things you want, places you want to go, people, you want to meet, or things you want to accomplish. Money and time don't play an option yet, you just need to write down the things that you want.


2. S.M.A.R.T. GOALS


Circle 10 things you want to accomplish next year.

  1. Specific

  2. Measurable.

  3. Action Oriented

  4. Realistic

  5. Time bounded



Example:

  • "I will say $5,000 By December 31".

  • "I will lose 120 pounds by next year, December 31, 2023"


Some of our friends started in March, they dove into this lifestyle in March and now she's down 95 pounds They have an incredible story, but my favorite part of their story was they got very specific and goal-oriented.


They said, "The fat loss is great, but when I found this community and had accountability, it changed my marriage, it changed me as a mom, and became a present mom".


"I didn't know all of these things that were broken were actually attributing to my weight gain".


They started drinking ketones, intermittent fasting, and just eating better. She also shared her story about her marriage, relationships, and her as a person. So as you're creating, dreaming, and brainstorming, circle 10 of those goals and make them into S.M.A.R.T. goals. We're going to start printing out pictures and creating our vision boards.


There are people that are driving their own cars and owning their lives, or some are just sitting in the passenger seat. There are people that are on the field playing the game of lives, and some are just watching from the grandstands. There are people who will do the action and they will be part of the 3% who will accomplish their goals, while 97% thought it would magically happen.

  • It's easy to read a book, it's easy not to.

  • It's easy to create a vision board, it's also easy not to.



CHAPTER 6: The Power Of Your Words


This is going to change your life if you actually acknowledge, understand, and implement it into your life. As you're designing your goals, they must be clear images on a board. We're going to talk about your words real quick.


"You need to remove all self-talk about your life and replace it with positive declarations and affirmations of your future. Your words are tools to be used to help you reach your goals".


Your words have the power to create life and death. It will help you achieve your dreams or it's going to deflate them.


"You cannot talk defeat and expect victory. Your words have creative power. You need to understand that if your dreams appear absolutely impossible and there's no indication that things will ever change, do not use your words to describe those situations".
