INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pound ground beef

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/4 cup almond flour

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pepperoni

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1/2 cup sugar-free marinara sauce for dipping


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, almond flour, chopped pepperoni, fresh basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.

  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

  4. Add the beaten egg to the mixture and continue to mix until the egg is fully incorporated.

  5. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned on the outside.

  7. While the meatballs are baking, warm the sugar-free marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.

  8. Once the meatballs are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

  9. Serve the keto pizza meatballs with the warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
