Hey! Welcome to the Keto Mom page, I hope you're having an incredible morning! My name is Stephanie, and if you're brand new, welcome! If you're not brand new, and you've been here for a while, then I hope your day is wonderful. All right! So we've got a couple days left of this month, and every morning we're going through a book. We have been talking about vision boards, dreaming goals, and all of those things. So for those of you who are tuning in regularly, we've been going through this book, "Dream it. Pin it. Live it" by Terri Savelle Foy. We're pretty much done with the book, and hopefully you are creating...

Welcome to day 21 of our Book 6 session
My goal for myself is to make sure that I'm dreaming, and that our family is dreaming. We're writing down our goals and our visions, and we are working towards them. My hope is that you're doing the same, I can't force you to do it...

We're at the end of the book, and we're working on vision boards. Now, I also have the workbook but I didn't work through it as we were reading. If you have the workbook, awesome! If you don't, you don't need it. It was just basically the book written in a shorter form, to give you some ideas. But I did have an idea for you, maybe to help you create your vision board. So as you're tuning in, where are you tuning in from? It is a beautiful day here, clearly you can see the sun around my face shining in. I'm in Minnesota, it is not "MinneSnowta" yet, but when the snow comes it most likely will not leave.

So we don't want it to come yet. If anybody lives up north, you know what I mean... So real quick, here's a couple fun sayings from the workbook, but from the book. I was just going to give you perspective, and then one idea that might help you create your vision board. Even if you didn't even read the book, even if you're like "What do I do?". Anybody can do this. If you can be a human being and not deep down have one thing that you've longed for, you've desired for a dream, a goal, or a vision. No matter how many times somebody has said "No" to you, or "There's no way you can achieve that". You have to have something deep down inside that you're like "If I would have done this", "If I could do this", "If I could feel or look a certain way"... I bet you, if you all step back for two minutes and just thought about like "I wish", "I long for"... In a perfect world "I would have". We are all human, we all have dreams and desires. Even if the environment that you've been around is negative. Even if you've never had somebody that believes in you.

My hope is that you have one little seed, one little dream, that if somebody believed in you, you might go after... I believe in you, I believe in you because I truly believe that with the right mindset, you can accomplish greatness, you really can. So here's a couple things to think about throughout your day.
Which type of person are you?

There are three types of people in this world. My question is what type of person are you? Are you number One, a person who makes things happen? I would say a person of Action. Number Two, are you a person who watches things happen? Are you a watcher, are you an observer? Do you like to gather all the information but you don't Act? Or number Three? Which I never want to be is, are you a person who wonders what would have happened?...

Are you an Action Taker, do you take action? or do you gather all the knowledge but you don't take action? Do you watch things happen? Are you an action taker? Are you an observer? Are you one of those people that maybe next year your going to be like "I wish I would have gone through that book?", "I wish"... It's a good awareness to have. Am I an action taker? And you can even just split these up into two people? Am I a person of Action, am I an observer, or am I a "regreter" like "I wish I would have done that"... And to have the awareness is like "Okay! Awesome!".

Now, everybody that's on here is a learner, leaders are learners. If you're on here, then you're clearly here to learn something. So if you feel like you're a Two, you can easily become a person number One, which is an Action Taker. By simply creating a vision board, or writing down five things that you longed to have in your life someday.

It doesn't need to be perfect, but a person of action will learn something and they put it into play. So that is my challenge to you is, if you're like "Oh, I'm that person. I'm grabbing the knowledge, grabbing the wisdom, I'm reading and I'm watching. But the last step that I fail to take, is taking action"... Oftentimes, we can get overwhelmed, if you're like "I've read the book, but now I've got a hundred list of things, and I don't know how to narrow it down to ten. I don't know what to put on my vision board". Just put something or anything. If all you put on your vision board is where you want to see your health and fitness, then that's all you have to do. How much weight do you want to lose? How many times you want to go to the gym? What are some things that you want to do with your spouse, your kids or your grandkids? Where would you like to go when you feel good?

Let's find our Dreams, and put a deadline on them!
Don't mess up good for perfect! It's just to help you dream. And as you take these first steps of dreaming, writing down goals and visions, eventually you'll start dreaming more. You'll go after different things and you'll add more to your vision board.

So what type of person are you? In this workbook, I like it because it gives you the basic highlights of a couple of the quotes that I really loved. "Goals are simply dreams with deadlines"... So we've got dreams and we're going to put a deadline on it. Whether it's a year, or even by the end of this year... What could you accomplish if you really set yourself up. Alright! "The mind has a miraculous ability to figure out ways to achieve what it thinks about most"... It's super important to pay attention to what's on your mind. What you're thinking about, is what you're ultimately going to get, good or bad. I'm reading just the different highlights of each chapter.

Alright! Think about this today... "Gratitude is a powerful process. The only way to move to the next level is you must show gratitude for where you are. If you show gratitude, it gets you to where you want to go quicker"...

So what are you thankful for? What are you thankful for today or right now? Share below. What are you thankful for? One thing... I am thankful for an incredible husband, who is a great visionary. What are you thankful for? Share below. "If you want to be successful, study successful people. If you want to be rich, study a rich person. If you want to be skinny, study a skinny person"... Follow the people that have already done it. Learn from their mistakes, or learn from their wisdom and take action. "Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working"... There's no such thing as luck, it's called work. It's called putting it into action. It's called taking everything that we've learned, all of you number two people, and putting it into action.

Your Vision Board doesn't have to be Pinterest worthy

So here's a thought for you today, as you're creating, as you're dreaming and you've got your visions, your your dreams and your goals written down. Something in the end of this book, I'll show you a couple pictures. Some people might think you've got to have a Pinterest book. She has some ideas in the look, it's just a little board with a couple pictures. This person has a ton of pictures. There's a couple different ideas on here, so don't feel like it's got to be a Pinterest board. I'm not a Pinterest person.

You could do lots and lots of pictures, but she recommends only having ten so it doesn't get overwhelming.

This person has a little breakdown of a calendar and numbers. This person has a board that looks like a corkboard with just a couple pictures on it. Vision and a couple things that they want to achieve within the next twelve to eighteen months. Don't overthink this, but something that you could do, if you're really feeling ambitious...

Here's here's your action step if you need it, invite some of your very best friends over, your parents, siblings or co workers, you can do it at your office. And say "Hey! I need everybody to get a cork board or poster board. We're going to do a vision board night. I'm going to have some appetizers, you all come over and let's dream together. I've read this book, and I'm going to print off some pictures. I'll have some glue sticks and markers. Who wants to do it with me?"...

Involve your family and involve your kids. We do this with our kids at the beginning of every year. They create their own Vision Boards. So if you don't want to do it by yourself, if you want to have a little bit of fun, have a little party with a couple people. Give them the basic overview of the book, "Hey, we're writing down goals that we want to achieve in the next twelve to eighteen months". Print off some pictures, bring over some boards, "We're going to do it together"...

So that would be an idea for you, as you're creating. Otherwise, don't mess up good for perfect and remember the key is to take action.
Share with me your boards, if you have created them already

So I hope that is helpful. I'm curious, did anybody here create their board? Who's actually printed out pictures? Who has a board in the making? Who maybe had one from the past? Do you feel like it's helpful? I love it.

So if you have your vision board created, and if you take a picture, tag me on Instagram, I'd love to see it.

For some reason, I can't get my settings to allow people to share pictures. If I can figure it out, I'd love to be able to have you share pictures in the comments. Like you can comment, but for some reason I don't know why, but the Keto Mom page doesn't allow people to post pictures in the comments. I'll see if I can switch it. But I would love to see your vision boards so you can send the picture to me in messenger. Otherwise, I hope you have a great day. Reach out with any questions that you have. Remember! It's taking action and not just learning. Action! Action! Action! I hope you have a great day. Take a few minutes, share some things that you're thankful for.

And that's it! I got to go attend to my crazy dogs. I hope you guys have a great day.
