Hey everybody, Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie. Happy Monday! We've had an incredible long weekend in Kentucky. We learned a lot of things with our team together with our CEO, and we got to hear from three different personal development, growth, and mindset speakers.

Right now, we're still going through "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz, and we're still on chapter 2. If you're following along, I'll tell you exactly the page we are on, in just a second.

đ—Ē𝗲 đ—ĩ𝗮𝗱 𝘀đ—ŧ đ—ē𝗮đ—ģ𝘆 𝗴đ—ŋ𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀đ—Ŋ𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲đ—ŋ𝘀 𝘁đ—ĩđ—ļ𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲đ—ģ𝗱.

But going back to our weekend, we learned from somebody named Jay Shetty. He's super popular, you've probably seen him on Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms. He was incredible, if you've never heard of him, go look him up. We also listened to Joseph McClendon III, and a lot of it was about mindset and growth.

If you're wanting success in any area of your life, you're going to have to work on your mindset.

Have you guys heard of Ed Mylett? He is incredible. He walked us through his journey of life. Oftentimes we think that other people's success was achieved overnight, which is not true. Ed Mylett, Jay Shetty, and Joseph McClendon III, all walked us through the story of their lives and it's not an overnight success.

Most people don't think of the 20 years of hard work or more. So as you're following people on social media, remember, you don't know the work that somebody put in, to look and feel a certain way. Not everything that people post is real. And some of you might compare your health journey to somebody else's. But always remember, everybody is on their own journey. The only way you fail is if you quit.

I believe the number one most important thing is to work on your personal development so that you don't quit, you don't compare and you don't give in. That way you become a better version of yourself, you can overflow and inspire other people around you. Let's dive into "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz.

What excuse are you making that allows you to let yourself off the hook? The more that you give excuses, the more you let yourself off the hook. We also talked about our health, and about not blaming things.

He said, most people blame being unsuccessful on their IQ or intelligence.

What I've also realized in talking to people here on the Keto mom page, people don't know what to do or they feel that they're not smart enough. Don't ever blame your success on the lack of intelligence.

Oftentimes people feel they're not smart enough. They might feel the need to go back to school and take some classes. It's not that you shouldn't take classes or go to school, but oftentimes, we think we have to collect all these facts in our brain before we can have success in any area of our life.

There is no shortage of information on how to get healthy, or how to lose weight. Last weekend, I had the opportunity to teach, and one of the things I said was when we're seeking wisdom and knowledge is we learn and we do it. You not only take action, but you put it into activity every day.

I learned that from Joseph McClendon III, who said anybody can take action for a couple of days or for a week. But sometimes people want this instant gratification, and then they stop because they don't immediately see the results they want.
𝗖đ—ŧđ—ģ𝘀đ—ļ𝘀𝘁𝗲đ—ģ𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁đ—ļđ—ŧđ—ģ đ—ŧ𝘃𝗲đ—ŋ𝘁đ—ļđ—ē𝗲 𝘄đ—ļ𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘆đ—ŧ𝘂 𝘁đ—ŧ 𝘆đ—ŧ𝘂đ—ŋ 𝗴đ—ŧ𝗮𝗹𝘀.

He said you have to take the action into activity. And the activity has to be forever flowing, no matter what. If you truly want to be healthy, if you are here for fat loss or anything health-related. I'm going to challenge you to change your mindset. You're going to see results as you go, but I would challenge you to think long-term. Give yourself a year to get healthy.

Remember that you did not get here overnight. You're not going to get there overnight. There are a lot of things that play a part in your health. And if you've lost the weight, gained it back, and then lost the weight and gained it back again. Your body might think that you're not serious.

Are you going to do that for two weeks and then you're done? Or are you committed to enjoying the process of working on your mindset, learning as you go, implementing things you've learned, and creating long-term activity so that you don't quit for a year? I said on March 1st, let's give it ninety days, we're almost to summer. But you're not going to quit when June comes or when the summer is here. Instead, you're going to keep going.

“𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁đ—ļ𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗮đ—ŋ𝗲 đ—ēđ—ŧđ—ŋ𝗲 đ—ļđ—ēđ—Ŋđ—ŧđ—ŋ𝘁𝗮đ—ģ𝘁 𝘁đ—ĩ𝗮đ—ģ đ—ē𝘆 đ—ļđ—ģ𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹đ—ļ𝗴𝗲đ—ģ𝗰𝗲. You've got to change the words that are coming out of your mouth, and your thought patterns. There are so many things that we learned this weekend. I've got so many notes and I'm going to start incorporating them as we go.

If you're following somebody online and they make you angry, stop watching them. Watch people with an open mind, learn from them and then do the activity.

Do the things that they've advised you to do or do what they're doing. It's just like walking through a minefield, you follow somebody who's already gone through it. So if you want to do something, follow somebody who has already done it. You don't want to recreate the wheel.

Don't look at people and get frustrated because they have something that you want. Look at them with an open eye and mind and learn from them.

As Jay Shetty said, oftentimes we look at people two different ways. Either we look at them with envy, and it's going to make you angry, upset and give you an excuse to quit. Or you look at them, watch what they're doing, and then do the activities that they're also doing, so you can get the success that you want.

We will continue tomorrow with chapter 2, and then the next chapter is about building confidence and destroying fear. We need to destroy fear so that we can take action and have results.

I hope you have an incredible day. This really makes me happy. Reading books and drinking ketones makes me happy. My kids make me happy. The community that I was around this weekend makes me so happy and joyful.

Alright, I hope you guys have a great morning. As always, you can send me a message with questions you have. Continue to tune into the page for any keto, low-carb recipes, tips, or tricks. I'm just here to help. Have a good morning and we'll see you later.
